Teddy’s story had a happy beginning, a complicated middle and you can make the end of his story wonderful by giving this seven year old Akita a wonderful forever home.  His original owner had him for six years and had to relinquish Teddy to MARS as he was going into a senior facility.  Teddy, while at MARS, had operations to correct his ACL tear and some orthopedic problems connected with that.  While he was rehabbing, a fantastic facility, Lindsay’s Doggy Day Spa in Ohio, gave him a space to heal which he did, thanks to the care of several wonderful ladies there.  Now Teddy is in a foster home in Illinois and looking for the happy end to his story…..a forever home.  Teddy is a gracious house guest and like any Akita is protective of his foster home and would do well as an only pet as he is used to being on his own.  He is affectionate and looking for love in all the right places.  If you would like to meet our Teddy, please contact Deanna OBrien at marsakita@sbcglobal.net or 773 594 9302.
