Kita ended up in my home after the previous owner vanished into thin air. So we don’t really know much about her background.
Since she’s been in my home, we’ve learned this:
Kita seems to love little kids. My 2-yr old grandson is with her 24/7. She’s very protective of him. If you play with him too aggressively, she will stand between you and the child. If he cries out, she will come running to check things out. She enjoys being fed by him. She’s very gentle taking food from him. You can also play in her food dish as she eats and she is not aggressive at all.

With that being said, do not leave human food out. She has been known to get on counters/table to eat food off a plate. She will not do it in your presence, but if you leave the room, it will be gone.

I do not know how she is with other animals. But apparently she lived in a home with several other dogs before coming here. Once while visiting another house with dogs, all was well until another dog got aggressive. Kita put her down fast and there was a bad wound to the other dog. Kita responded quickly to the voice of my daughter to come now. Also, when dogs walk by the house she does not seem aggressive towards them.

Kita seems to be okay with my crazy loud house. When I yell out, though, she has piddled inside. And yet, she’s been left alone for hours with no accidents or stuff torn up. There are times she’s shredded my grandson’s stuffed animals, in play. I’m sure this is confusion, as she gets stuffed toys as well.

She seems to get defiant at times and doesn’t want to listen. She clings to one person and will not eat in some kind of weird sadness until they return home. She is clingy to my 22-yr old daughter. She’ll get sad and wait for her in the kitchen for hours and cry out.

Kita will get playful and loves to be chased around the yard, loves to catch balls, but doesn’t bring them back. So no fetch here! She loves walks.

She’s a messy water drinker, but is used to baths. However, the vacuum and hair dryer bother her.

Outside, she likes to dig here and there and has a high prey drive when it comes to birds and bugs.

She seems to be a great dog honestly, and great with kids or toddlers. But she is here because my daughter brought her home. I have OCD and do NOT like animals, so my home cannot be her forever home. My anxiety and stress levels are high with her around, especially when she sheds!

I feel Kita needs to be in a home with kids, possibly an only dog, but I’m not sure there. She may love other animals, with somebody home often to keep her company and active. She needs love and companionship, which I can’t giver her.

With that being said, we have no papers on her to give any other information, or know how to find out. She is not fixed, but will be before coming to your home and my daughter has paid for all her shots.
