GEORGE

This is George, a very handsome 5 year old American Akita. He was bought at 8weeks old and sadly the owners got a new small breed puppy who George nipped at so they wanted to euthanize for this reason. It seems he’s never received any training so we are working on basics and manners right now but he’s a smart boy who just wants to make you happy so he’s catching on quick:) He is on the smaller side at 80lb, and loves to cuddle and lay in your lap. He is the biggest sweetheart when he gets to know you & loves to seek affection. He has some anxiousness currently and we are working to socialize him more to build his confidence. He was kept in a back room by himself for much of his life so he’s loving having more freedom around the house. He does not like other dogs, and hasn’t been cat tested but previous owners stated he doesn’t like small animals or little kids. He has been attentive and loving towards my 13yo and his friends so he would be great with older kids. He is a big baby who wants to love on you and be loved on in return. He will be neutered before being placed in a forever home. Please help this sweet boy find his forever home!
