Kaiya is a 6-year-old athletic Akita who loves to run, jump and play with her handlers more than most.  She would do well with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities.  Kaiya is a typical Akita in that she takes a bit of time to warm up to new members in her life but once she accepts you, you are her favorite lean on friend.  With her trusted friends, she has become a master of the Akita lean.  She is easy to walk on lead, is treat motivated and quick to learn new behaviors.  With experienced owners she may be able to capitalize on her desire to play and thus transfer that to another male companion.  Kaiya is fostered in Ohio and we do require previous Akita experience.
